چکیده
SAT solvers are widely used to solve many industrial problems because of their high performance, which is achieved by various heuristic methods. Understanding why these methods effective essential improving them. One approach this analyzing them using qualitative measurements. In our previous study, we proposed search similarity index (SSI), a metric quantify the between searches. SSI significantly improved performance parallel solver. Here, apply analyze effect restart, key solver technique. Experiments reveal correlation difficulty instances and change reason behind effectiveness state-of-the-art restart method also explained.

A Verified SAT Solver Framework with Learn, Forget, Restart, and Incrementality (Extended Abstract)
We developed a formal framework for CDCL (conflict-driven clause learning) in Isabelle/HOL. Through a chain of refinements, an abstract CDCL calculus is connected to a SAT solver expressed in a functional programming language, with total correctness guarantees. The framework offers a convenient way to prove metatheorems and experiment with variants. Compared with earlier SAT solver verification...
متن کاملMFSAT: A SAT Solver Using Multi-Flip Local Search
Local search-based methods of SAT solving have received a significant attention in the last decade. All local search-based methods choose the next truth assignment by flipping the value of only one variable. Simultaneously flipping values of multiple variables on an iteration can allow a local search-based solver to take long leaps in the search space. We report on SAT solver MFSAT, which has n...
متن کاملZBDD-Based Backtrack Search SAT Solver
We introduce a new approach to Boolean satisfiability that combines backtrack search techniques and zero-suppressed binary decision diagrams (ZBDDs). This approach implicitly represents satisfiability instances using ZBDDs, and performs search using an efficient implementation of unit propagation on the ZBDD structure. We describe how to perform backtrack search using ZBDDs as the underlying st...
متن کاملIndex-Supported Similarity Search Using Multiple Representations
Similarity search in complex databases is of utmost interest in a wide range of application domains. Often, complex objects are described by several representations. The combination of these different representations usually contains more information compared to only one representation. In our work, we introduce the use of an index structure in combination with a negotiation-theorybased approac...
